Vision & Approach

Preserving the Italian Tradition

Having trained with instructors deeply rooted in the most authentic Italian operatic tradition, I feel a profound duty to preserve and pass on this heritage. My focus is dedicated to the meticulous refinement of diction, historical performance practices, and the subtle expressive nuances that define the repertoire. This respect for our roots merges with a modern sensibility, essential for meeting the interpretative challenges of contemporary vocalism on international stages.

Where Academy Meets the Profession

This methodological vision finds its natural fulfillment in my professional activity with the Slovenian Philarmonics. Working in one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious institutions demands an immediate synthesis of interpretative rigor and collaborative flexibility.

The goal of my coaching is to bring this elite stage experience into the academic dimension, guiding students toward the development of critical self-assessment and solid artistic autonomy. I prepare performers to approach the repertoire not just as a technical challenge, but as a total artistic experience, with the rigor and passion demanded by high-level professionalism.

Where to find me?

Currently, I work as a répétiteur for singers at the Ljubljana Academy of Music (Akademija za glasbo), collaborating with the voice class of Prof. Theresa Plut.

For private sessions (online or in presence):

I consider pedagogical cooperation with singing and stage direction faculty to be essential. The role of the vocal coach is, by its very nature, an act of synergy: working side-by-side with voice departments allows us to offer students cohesive guidance, where technique, style, and dramatic intent merge into a unified and conscious artistic vision.
